KINS is a start-up company inspired to make a difference in the lives of local communities

It was founded in 2015 by sisters Felicia Sparkes, a former teacher and Literacy Coach, and Patricia Tompkins, a creative director and designer, out of Phoenix, Arizona. KINS was born from a desire to change the trajectory of literacy in America, providing opportunity and resources to children in need. Still in its infancy, the family-owned business has large aspirations for impacting early literacy education today.

KINS is closing the opportunity gap by putting books into the homes of children in need. Centered on giving all children access to quality early literacy experiences, we’re bringing literacy classes and resources to communities that otherwise wouldn’t have access to them.

KINS is always looking to build partnerships with organizations that share our commitment to promoting and providing access to early literacy education across America.
